For more than 40 years, John Givens Farm has been growing some of Santa Barbara’s freshest, most flavorful produce — and we’re proud to feature their harvest right here at Tri-County Produce.

Founded in the late 1970s by former aerospace engineer John Givens, the farm began on a single acre and has since flourished into more than 180 acres of certified organic farmland across the Central Coast. From tender greens and juicy tomatoes to crisp melons and colorful root vegetables, their produce fills our shelves and your tables all year long.

What makes John Givens Farm special isn’t just what they grow — it’s how they grow it. Their sustainable farming practices, including composting, cover cropping, and nurturing diverse microclimates, ensure that every crop is cultivated with care for the earth and the community it feeds.

They’re also the heart behind the Something Good Organics CSA, which delivers seasonal boxes of fruits and vegetables to homes throughout Santa Barbara — making it easy for locals to eat fresh, organic, and close to the source.
